Cool Down

It is important to properly cool down after engaging in exercise so that your muscles can stretch to prevent injury and your heart rate come back to normal at a safe pace instead of suddenly stopping activity and dropping quickly.  Check out this video created by Lindsey Mullis with the HDI health & wellness initiative and the HealthMatters, Kentucky pilot group!
